Single-Acting Cylinders​

  Hydraulic single-acting cylinders exert force either in thrust or pull of the rod, while the return is achieved either by the weight of the construction or through some other assistance, such as springs.

   For constructionof such a cylinder it is necessary to know:

• The length between the two connection points

• The stroke

• The maximum weight it has to move

• The method of connection (the ends of both sides).
